CANDLE CARE: The first time you light your candle, let it burn for the 3-4 hours to allow the melted wax to reach the edge of the container to prevent your candle from tunneling. After the first burn, trim wick to 1/4in before lighting each time. This is extremely important to get the most out of your candle and to aesthetically maintain it. also if there are any smoke residue on the inside of your 12oz jar simply wipe it away with a paper towel to keep it looking beautiful.

Flame too large

I was drawn to this candle because of the smell. I got the Orange Blossom scent, and it smells lovely. When lit, the wood wick makes that crackling sound—which is nice—but the flame is HUGE. No matter how much I trim the wick, the flame just gets massive. I’m actually a little worried to have it burning. I’ve never had this issue with a wood wick candle (or any candle) before, but maybe it’s user error. It was pricey so I’ll keep using it—and it does smell good—but I would not repurchase for fear of the large flame.
